Trial

(Taking Cheyenne's advice and doing a trial. I can't really remember how the stories sounded when i wrote them in her book, but i think this is similar. I am trying to sound informal in this post, but not too informal. I hate writing like a dumb sixth grader. Well, let's see how this goes. I personally hate this little paragraph, but maybe you will like it, Cheyenne.)

{1984)

Tom wasn't like the guys Kayla remembered from High School or New York.

All of the new men Kayla met in Philadelphia were different, come to think of it. New York City is one of the largest cities in America. Striving artists come to New York City in search for work and fame. Kayla knew plenty of musicians back home, but none of them interested her as much as Tom did.

Musicians in New York City bragged about their auditions for ritzy hotels in downtown. The boys in Kayla's High School cared about their trucks, football, and who passed out at the weekend's kegger party.

Tom wasn't that linear. Tom talked about an abundance of assorted topics. He loved Rock N Roll probably more so than Kayla. That alone guaranteed they would get along. Tom was also very intelligent for someone who barely graduated High School. He spoke of life often, as if he knew the fate that awaited him.
