(Chey and I decided to redo meeting Tom. It was on a beach in New Jersey. We talked, swam, flirted, and so on. The girls had a suite in a nice hotel on the beach-Robin was invited to stay at this hotel because there was a convention in the area that weekend-and Kayla decides to sneak out and see Tom. They exchanged numbers the day before and this is what happens. And i figured that Tom and I would have instant chemistry.)

Later that night, as Cheyenne and Robin watched TV, Kayla was going out for a walk but called Tom before she left and told him to meet her on the beach.

It took her a good twenty minutes to walk to the beach from the hotel. Seeing Tom there, she wanted to run up and hug him from behind. He was standing with his head down, watching the waves slowly rise around his ankles. It seemed like it'd been forever since she had seen him last.

"Tom!" she called from a distance, making her way toward him, walking quickly over the cool sand.

When he turned to her, the wind whipped hair around his face. He pulled it back with quick fingers then held out his arms.

"Umph," he said, tightening his hold on her. He kissed her cheek and then her lips.

Tom was the one to pull away. His lids were heavy with contentedness. He dropped down to the sand and pulled Kayla down with him.

"So, Houdini, what's with the Great Escape? Do your friends know where you're at?"

She giggled. "I told them i was going out for a walk," she explained.

"Impressive." Tom spread out his legs and rested his elbow in the sand. "So how've you been? Are you getting sunlight? I hope you're eating."

Kayla playfully shoved him. "Yes, i'm eating. And i'm fine."

"Really?"

"Yes. Really."

"Come here," he said softly, pulling her closer. She nestled into crook of his neck, liking his arms wrapped around her tightly.
