There were only two more hours of work at the film developing store of Birch Falls. It was Friday and the guys were excited to play their weekly gig at the Galaxy later that evening, especially Eric. Cheyenne promised to attend their gig, and that meant the world to Eric. It meant so much to Eric because, unlike his previous girlfriends, Cheyenne took an interest in his music.
Before he ordered Jeff to close the store, he took this time to check the money in the cash register. "Okay, who put a sandwich in the cash register?" Eric said, pulling a sandwich from the tray.
"I did that, Eric. Sorry, man. I've been a little scatter brained lately." Jeff mumbled.
"Yeah. You know, you've been acting kind of weird lately. Are you sober?" Eric gave the sandwich back to Jeff and continued to count the money in the register.
"No." Was all Jeff said.
"So what's wrong?" Eric slammed the register shut.
Jeff leaned against the counter as he said, "I met this girl, man. And i don't know what to do about it. It's been a long time since i wooed a lady..."
"First off, nobody uses the phrase "woo a lady" anymore, Jeff." Tom added, lifting his eyes from the pages RIP magazine and crossing his legs.
"That's why the girl at the Hub slapped me." Fred said, popping a piece of gum into his mouth.
"No, man. She slapped you because you grabbed her ass and yelled, 'Woo, lady!'" Eric breathed. "Alright, Jeff, the problem that most guys when they're picking up chicks is that they over think things. So, you'll be fine."
"All you have to say to a lady is, come here often? If she says no, grab her ass." Fred advises.
Tom folded up the magazine and shoved it in the back pocket of his jeans as he stood up, making his way toward Jeff and saying, "No, look. I have an idea. Pretend that we're at a bar and the three of us are foxy ladies." Tom gestured to himself, Eric, and Fred.
"OOO, i'm a recent collage graduate with big boobs and an urge to explore." Fred said, a little too excited.
Haha Fred..
