(Doing a little Cheyenne story.)
Cheyenne was seated at the kitchen table with a compact mirror in one hand and a tube of lipstick in the other. Eric was late, as usual, and Cheyenne had nothing better to do while she waited on his sorry ass. Fred was leaned over, searching the refrigerator for something decent to eat. He pushed aside a half-empty bottle of ketchup only to reveal a plastic dish full of black bean chili. "Do you have anything to eat? Like, poptarts?" He asked, closing the fridge and making his way toward the pantry.
The back door opened and Tom peaked his head into the kitchen. "Hey, when you see Kayla can you tell her that i'll be waiting for her at The Hub?"
"Do you have plans?" Cheyenne asked, slamming her compact mirror closed and setting it in front of her on the table.
"Yeah, we're going to have lunch and then catch a movie. Cya." Tom said before leaving.
"Did you hear that? They're having lunch and catching a movie. That's a date!" Fred said, closing the pantry and taking the seat across from Cheyenne at the table.
"Fred, i know what we should do..." She said with a little wink of her eye.
"Yes! But where are we going to find a dog with antlers?" Fred set his elbows on the table and lowered his head.
"What? No! We're going to find out what's going on!"

"Eric, hand me the clicker, please." Cheyenne said, trying to lean over Eric to grab the remote on the arm of the couch that was just a hair away from within her reach.
Eric lifted his knee and that was enough to bring Cheyenne forward to grab the remote. "Thanks!
"I didn't know Press Your Luck was on this late..." Fred said in between mouth fulls of popcorn.
"Do you want a soda with all that popcorn, Fred?" Kayla asked, already getting up from her seat and heading toward the kitchen.
"Yes, please. So, Kayla, how was hanging out with Tom?" Fred quickly glanced over to Cheyenne then pulled his eyes back to Kayla for a response.
"Hey, look Fred, it says in the paper that this guy got punched in the arm for sticking his nose where it didn't belong." Eric said, pretending to read said article in the newspaper.
"When?" Fred asked, sounding interested and taking Kayla's spot beside Eric to read the article.
"Now!" Eric quickly punched Fred's arm.
"So, Kayla, is there any news you want to share with us?" Cheyenne asked as Kayla handed her a soda and took a seat.
"I really don't want to talk about it."
"Oh, so there's something to talk about." Cheyenne crossed her legs and leaned in toward Kayla, waiting for an answer.
"Yeah," Fred added, joining Cheyenne. "Spill it girl!"
"There's nothing to spill!" Kayla yelled out of frustration. She stood from the couch and left through the back door.
"You two are idiots!" Eric said, hitting Fred over the head with the rolled up newspaper.
I SAY CLICKER, YOU KNOW I CALL IT THE CLICKER.
