I can hear the leaves and branches of the trees smack against the walls of the house. Lighting cracked as thunder roared from the heavens. Rain pounded endlessly onto the roof as i tried to concentrate upon the pages of my book. I had the house to myself tonight. Kayla was on a date with Tom and Robin was working late at the studio. I decided to spend my time catching up on reading. I sat on the couch with a book in my hands and a bag of potato chips on my lap. I began to become distracted from the writings in the book. my mind began to wonder off the pages and into my deeper thoughts. i began to question my relationship with Eric. We have known each other for nearly a month, and only dating for three weeks. i suppose it is too early to really know if we are meant to be together forever, huh? i don't want to waste my time trying to make the most of a relationship if it isn't meant to last.

I've heard Kayla hint that she is "in love" with Tom. I don't understand her. i could never fall in love with a man that i have only known for a month! i don't think i can fall in love with Eric..
